The following are fundamental principles for the design of Charity Radar
Items or parts of items in italics are yet to be formally agreed.
Charity Radar will only be targeting UK Charities and similar organisations
The design will allow other UK sectors to be targetted in future
-
As much as possible, the product will be cost-neutral to the end user. The grants raised and the costs saved will outweigh the cost of the product
There will be a series of
modules which will be developed in an agreed order. Once the core modules exist, the product will be released to the world
The onboarding process will be largely self-service. It will be accompanied by help files and/or videos as necessary
The following terms will be used:
Account - an organisation that subscribes to Charity Radar
User - an individual who has access to the data and facilities of Charity Radar. A user always belongs to one and only one Account but may have access to administer one or more Accounts
Privilege - the access rights a User has for an Account - see
users
Person - the information stored about a natural person
